Ghostbusters!
We dressed up for Halloween as the 3 original Ghostbusters and my daughter went as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. So silly!
I think this is the first time my son actually enjoyed dressing up for Halloween. He played the part of Egon Spengler, I was Raymond Stanz, and my hubby was Peter Venkman. We thought Riley was a great sport to be the big puffy marshmallow guy. She was hilarious!
I have to say that I think our costumes turned out pretty neat. We ordered real coveralls from Working Class Clothes. We bought embroidered Ghostbuster patches and name patches on Amazon. I bought cheap black backpacks at Walmart and Hubby and the kids decked them out with all sorts of fun stuff from Home Depot such as oven knobs, plumbing tubes, and electrical wires.
My daughter wore the biggest white sweatshirt and surgical scrub pants we could find and we stuffed her full of 4 bags of batting. We tied up her rolls of fluff with white yarn. I made her a sailor collar and tie. We converted a chef’s hat and I printed out a Stay Puft ribbon band using my digi skills. She got pretty hot by the end of the evening, but she enjoyed all the laughs she got.
What a fun Halloween!
