Tomorrow is November 11th which means the calendar will read 11-11-11, pretty cool! There’s something fun about all those number ones lining up in a row like that. I can’t wait to take a picture of my atomic clock at 11:11 on 11-11-11 because the time and date will both be displayed. Since I’m a crazy “Scrapbook Lady” and I love to document our lives in pictures & words, I’m planning to go looking for the number 11 tomorrow. I’ve already put together a mosaic on Flickr for inspiration:

I’ll be taking pictures of our clocks as they land on the 11:11 time (both a.m. and p.m.) and I hope to get a screenshot of my iPhone during those times as well. My kids are planning on helping me because they are also excited about the whole thing.
I think we’ll read this book:
I’m going to have everyone in our family make a list of 11 favorite things on that day. And we’ll eat some straight foods like breadsticks, licorice, etc. so we can turn them into the number 11.
Want some more ideas?
- Host a party and celebrate the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year. If you party late into the evening, you can also celebrate the 11th hour!
- Participate in the Collective Snapshot of Earth project. What a neat idea!
- Go to the store and see what you can buy with $11. Take pictures and document the experience. Bonus points if you somehow get your purchase to total $11.11 – lol!
