It seems like everyone ends up being a ghost for Halloween at some point in their lives. My Mom got me started off at a young age with the traditional ghost costume of a white sheet pulled over the head with cut-out eye holes.
Here I am as a classic ghost in 1971 at the age of 2.

Some people might say that a ghost is a poor excuse for a costume, but I think everyone needs to do the sheet thing at least once. How many times did you imagine yourself as a ghost while wearing your bed sheets? It’s a part of childhood.
Have you ever dressed up as a ghost for Halloween? How about anyone else in your family? Did you use a sheet, or a more elaborate costume? What do you think of when you imagine a Halloween ghost? I personally like mine to be somewhat friendly. Of course, if any of you have watched Beetlejuice, you might be thinking of ghosts in designer sheets.
Lydia: Are you the guys hiding out in the attic?
Adam: We're ghosts!
Lydia: What do you look like under there?
Adam: Aren't you scared?
Lydia: I'm not scared of sheets. Are you gross under there? Are you Night of the Living Dead under there? Like all bloody veins and pus?
Adam: Night of the what?
Lydia: Living Dead. It's a movie.
Barbara: You know, if I had seen a ghost at your age I would have been scared out of my wits.
Whenever I see someone wearing a sheet, I’m tempted to ask them if they are “Night of the Living Dead under there?” LOL!
I’m not going to be a ghost this Halloween, but I am dressing up as something ghost-related. I can’t wait to share pictures soon! For now, I’ll just sign off and wish you a magnificent Memory Monday and a Happy Halloween!
