The Gallery Standouts blog is one of my favorite places to go for scrapbook layout inspiration. Since I’m a digital scrapbooker, I love that they feature digi pages, but I think any scrapper would be inspired by a visit to GSO (Gallery Standouts). Kate Hadfield is the owner and the team is comprised of some of the most amazing digital artists around! I love the aim of the site:
"We all are united in our desire to share those layouts that stop us in our tracks and make us say, “Oh wow.”
Each blog post is done by a different team member who browses through several online galleries and picks the layouts that they want to feature. They make meaningful comments about each page and link back to the original gallery post. It’s considered an honor to have your layouts on the Gallery Standouts blog!
The “souvenirs” I end up with after a GSO visit, are additions to my “must scraplift someday” folder. I’m constantly adding bookmarks (I use delicious) when I see pages featured there. Here are some of my recent favorites with links back to where they were found on the Gallery Standouts site:
I love the blended photo on this one
I love pages filled with writing and embellishments
What a fabulous page design!
Love how the embellishments illustrate the story
The focus on the photos makes this one just wonderful!
I guess we all become our Mom – lol!
Great way to scrap about different family members all at once
Whenever I visit Gallery Standouts, I want to dig into my digi supplies and get scrapping!
Hope you enjoyed today’s tour stop!

About the 2011 Summer Tour: I’ve handpicked 10 of my favorite sites for this tour. None of the sites even know they will be featured on the tour until the day of their “stop”. This is just a fun way for me to share some great online destinations for you to travel to. If you missed last year’s tour, you can find it here. The 2011 tour graphics were made with Kate Hadfield’s digital doodles, Kaye Winiecki’s paper, and Heather Hess’ font The Architect. Affiliate links used when possible, but I never link it unless I LOVE it!
