I’m actually quite fascinated with statistics and interesting tidbits of information. I guess that’s why I thought I would actually enjoy the statistics class I took in college. Instead, the professor drained every ounce of fun out of the course and it was pure torture to sit through the lectures. The Daily Infographic site has brought back my love for fun facts. It’s so fun to see the visual graphic displays of different kinds of information there. I have found some really fun things and I know you will too.
I LOVE Harry Potter and I’m excited to see the last film. It was fun to learn about the films via this infographic.
I find that many of the infographics are quite educational, like this one about how laws are made in the US. I’m going to refer to this one for some homeschool lessons.
Want to know how others feel about certain decisions and ideas? Here’s an infographic full of those type of answers.
We were just trying to explain the word “ironic” to my daughter the other day, now I’ll just show her this infographic!
I have a brother who is left-handed, and according to this infographic, only 15% of people are lefties.
I found this infographic really interesting, especially since my husband learned to speak the Japanese language.
These examples are a good representation of the diverse and interesting information that you will find on the Daily Infographic. I can see a lot of fun applications for this type of “reporting” that could be used in scrapbooking and blogging.
Hope you enjoyed today’s tour stop!
About the 2011 Summer Tour: I’ve handpicked 10 of my favorite sites for this tour. None of the sites even know they will be featured on the tour until the day of their “stop”. This is just a fun way for me to share some great online destinations for you to travel to. If you missed last year’s tour, you can find it here. The 2011 tour graphics were made with Kate Hadfield’s digital doodles, Kaye Winiecki’s paper, and Heather Hess’ font The Architect. Affiliate links used when possible, but I never link it unless I LOVE it!
