When Pioneer Woman came out with her Photoshop actions, I didn’t pay much attention since I’m a PSE (Photoshop Elements) kind of gal. I was excited though, when someone helped her make PSE friendly actions. I never got around to installing them until I wrote this article for The Daily Digi about photo editing. Now I can’t believe I lived without them for so long!
Sometimes it’s just so much fun to play with photos!
original photo taken by my Mother-in-Law in Oregon back in 2004. SOOC (straight out of the camera)
PW Boost action. It’s subtle (or supple, as my son says), but very pretty. The colors are just a little more vibrant.
.
PW Define and Sharpen. The details are nice and sharp.
.
PW Sunshine. Looks like a sunny day in the seventies to me. Fun effect.
.
PW Seventies. Like the seventies, only prettier. And without red eye and yellow tints. lol!
.
PW Lovely and Ethereal. Might be my favorite. Soft and sweet.
.
PW Heartland. Not really meant for flower pictures, but I love the look of this. I bet it’s awesome on her ranch pictures!
.
PW Fresh and Colorful. Ok, this might be my favorite one. I really like things to look fresh and colorful! I like vibrant color.
.
Have you played with your pictures lately? It’s a great way to avoid cleaning your house, doing laundry, or working on anything that is on your very long list of things that should be done. Trust me, I know this from experience.
