Did you know that today is Chinese New Year? We are now ushering in the year of the Rabbit. I thought it would be fun to share a mosaic I made last year using flickr + big huge labs. For more ideas with these types of mosaics, see my self-paced class at Big Picture Classes.

One of my favorite parts of Chinese New Year is the Chinese Zodiac. Each year one of 12 different animals is honored. It would be fun to find your animal sign and do a page about it. Do the characteristics and traits used to describe those born in the year of this animal fit you? Why or why not? This can be done for every member of your family and you could even put together a mini zodiac album for a fun and unique project.
