Welcome back to my summer blog tour. I think we should all get to travel the world more often, but that just isn’t practical for most of us. Thank goodness for the internet! I’m taking my blog “on tour” for the next few weeks so we can all enjoy a fun virtual vacation together. Hope you enjoy it!
DAY 15 – HOW ABOUT ORANGE
I’ve been reading the How About Orange blog for a few years now and it continues to be one of my very favorites. Designer Jessica Jones shares cool finds and her love of orange on the blog, and I’ve find many bookmark-worthy posts to explore.

I have a greater appreciation for the color orange from reading this blog. I love these orange pillows!
.
She regularly finds free printables and downloads to share like these recipe cards.
.
I love the tutorials she links to also like these Super Cute Sewing Tutorials.
.
Great designer resources like this plaid maker!
.
Some posts are just fun little activities like this “essential life skill: money origami” entry.
.
Here’s the fun part of the blog tour – I’m going to show you how to pick up your own “souvenirs” from our online travels.
.
Jessica seems to have a knack for finding fun little online quizzes to take. They are great for blog posts and can even inspire a scrapbook page! I took the color preference quiz and these are some of my results:
You are 46 % extrovert and 54 % introvert.
You are able to have an in-depth thinking, you think before acting, and you know how to communicate your knowledge. You are also strong-willed and active, your actions are determined by your own will, by the goals you settled for yourself, and by your need to act and to move forward. Finally you are imaginative and creative, you have always new ideas, and you know how to apply them.
You are dynamic and active, you are determined in your actions, you know how to communicate your ideals and your energy, and thus, you know how to boost people, you are thoughtful and capable of listening to others, you take into account the needs of others before setting up the defined objectives.
Interesting! Fun little quiz :)

Download a free font! She loves to share great finds like this one.

LOVE this idea of turning zipper bags into works of art with a Sharpie! My daughter and I are going to have some fun with this idea!
.
I really want to figure out how to make gift bows from magazine pages. Step-by-step instructions here.
.
I would love to do something fun with one of Jessica’s fabric designs. You can purchase her fabric right here.
.
Hope you enjoyed today’s tour. Keep your “passport” ready and join me tomorrow for another fun virtual visit!
P.S. If you are looking for the cute graphics I’ve used for these posts, they are all hand-drawn by Kate Hadfield and are available for purchase here. One of the kits I used has been retired, but she has a similar pack for sale here.
