Welcome back to my summer blog tour. I think we should all get to travel the world more often, but that just isn’t practical for most of us. Thank goodness for the internet! I’m taking my blog “on tour” for the next few weeks so we can all enjoy a fun virtual vacation together. Hope you enjoy it!
DAY 7 – HEATHER BAILEY
If you are not into sewing or quilting, you might not be familiar with Heather Bailey. Even if those aren’t your favorite activities, I bet you will find something fun and inspiring on Heather’s blog, I know I do! She is full of creative ideas and her designs are so colorful and fun.
Love this Saturday Market Bag!
.
This little piggy is adorable!
.
These elephant pincushions are so cute!
.
Not only does she create patterns, but she is a seriously talented fabric designer! I can almost always tell when a fabric is designed by her, before I even check the bolt or selvage. She has a very distinctive style and it is so fun and pretty!
.
LOVE all her fabulous posts about Harry Potter Party ideas! And the photography is amazing as well.
- Lemondrops and other fine passwords
- Swish and Flick
- The 3 Broomsticks
- Bottoms Up Butterbeer
- Candy Coated Roach Control
Here’s the fun part of the blog tour – I’m going to show you how to pick up your own “souvenirs” from our online travels. BIG list today but some of these goodies are free so be sure to check them out!
So clever – colored trash ties for hair. I’m going to order some of these for my daughter.
.
She even has a free pdf tutorial for trash tie hairdo ideas.
.
Really wanting this Smarty Girl bag pattern!
.
I already own the turtle pattern. Just need to get busy on making it!
.
I know my daughter could make these yo-yo holly flowers. Heather taught several young ladies how to make them.
.
Fabulous and free tutorial for making these fun fabric flowers!
.
Hope you enjoyed today’s tour. Keep your “passport” ready and join me tomorrow for another fun virtual visit!
P.S. If you are looking for the cute graphics I’ve used for these posts, they are all hand-drawn by Kate Hadfield and are available for purchase here. One of the kits I used has been retired, but she has a similar pack for sale here.
