Feels so good to get my roundup done, it's a great way to recap the past month and it helps me feel ready to face the new month of memories to come!
Here's what my April of 2010 was all about:
1. What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. Not nearly as good as The DaVinci Code.
2. What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?LOST and LOST Untangled each week. We also watched Utah Jazz playoff basketball games, some Disney Channel shows. We watched the 1st season of Survivor (we are very recent converts to the Survivor thing) which was quite interesting even though we already knew who won the big prize.
3. What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
We took a vacation to Scottsdale, Arizona at the first of the month for spring break. That was absolutely wonderful!
The rest of the month wasn’t too fun because of sickness, surgery, and lots of homeschool.
4. What gifts did I give and/or receive?
My father-in-law had a birthday and we gave him a new computer mouse.
5. What special or unusual purchases did I make?
Medical bills. Our refrigerator broke (compressor went out) so it was the spark we needed to get all new kitchen appliances. That was on my list for this year so it’s nice to have that taken care of now. Hubby really worked hard to get a great deal since we were buying several things at once so we ended up saving quite a bit.
6. What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
I had a very bad cold that I was certain would turn into a sinus infection, but I was able to fight it off without antibiotics.
7.What were my accomplishments this month?
I made it through the month. lol!
8. What were my disappointments this month?
Sickness and pain. Not doing very well with eating and exercising during the last few weeks.
9. How did I do on my goals for the month? (Or any current short or long term goals)
I’m happy that I blogged regularly and was able to get a lot of things done before my hand surgery.
10. Anything else noteworthy to include
Here are the layouts I completed in April. Each image is linked to the original blog post from either my own blog here, or The Daily Digi if you want to see credits or details for each creation.I'm now looking forward to May and hoping for some warm weather.
Have you done your roundup yet? Don't wait too long! You will be so glad you took the time to roundup your month!
