Whether your Mom is part of your daily life right now or not, I bet you have learned many things from her. I created this little tag/prompt to get us all journaling about our Moms. Feel free to pass this on to friends and families and encourage them to fill in their own answers.
10 Things I Have Learned From My Mom:
1. Being a Mom is the most important job in the world.
2. Be interested in what your kids are doing and who they are.
3. Enjoy spending time with your kids.
4. Don't be afraid to be a Mom and enforce the rules.
5. Always listen to what your kids have to say. Ask questions about their life.
6. Provide a safe, clean, and loving home environment.
7. Encourage your kids to find their own talents and follow their dreams.
8. Once you become a Mom, you are always a Mom.
9. Love your kids unconditionally.
10. Keep that sense of humor... it's critical!

and here's a fun little tidbit from the Hallmark Channel. In honor of Mother's Day and the premiere of its Meet My Mom movie, Hallmark has a special tab on its facebook page called Meet My Mom. It allows people to upload photos, videos and notes about their moms and it was covered in Mashable today. There are lots of military videos, too. Each entry has a link you can use to share it with your mom. It would be easy to upload Mom layouts, too.
