Feels good to get my roundup done for December. This was my 48th consecutive roundup! I've done this every month since I came up with the idea back in January of 2006. Go me!
What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
Princess and the Frog ,which was fabulous! Prep and Landing (just ok), and ELF (an annual tradition). We also discovered The Dog Whisperer on National Geographic channel and have been enjoying that show.
What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
Tons of fun Christmas activities: took my kids to The Festival of Trees, built a Lego village, opened our Lego Advent calendar each morning, stayed downtown overnight, attended 4 Christmas parties, went to a Messiah concert, made graham cracker houses, filled an old spice rack with sprinkles, had 2 international dinners to celebrate Christmas in other countries (Mexico and Denmark). We also went to the movies, and even a Utah Jazz autograph party event. We also visited my hubby's grandma. She is 85 and can run circles around the rest of us in the kitchen. Neat lady. Busy month!
What gifts did I give and/or receive?
Reindeer Bark and other goodies to friends, scrapbook layouts, books, and toys. I received some Lego sets :) and some really cool vintage typewriter key earrings. I will share pictures sometime soon. We had a very nice Christmas.
What special or unusual purchases did I make?
Family photos for our house, custom Christmas cards, and gifts. I will post more about these sometime in January.
What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
Still trying to heal my finger. I finally regained most of the movement in it, but I still have a ways to go before I'm back to 100%. I pulled out my back for a few days, but a good friend helped me with some pressure release massages. I had another cyst removed from my head, but this one ruptured. That was a whole bunch of gross that I won't go into. You're welcome.
My Dad had a heart attack on Christmas Eve Day. That was really scary, but it looks like he is going to be ok. He is trying to work on resting and relaxing for a few weeks (not his strengths) and also adapting to a new lifestyle and diet. It was hard that we were away from my family at Christmas so we weren't really able to be of much help. On the other hand, I'm glad he wasn't traveling this year when it happened.
What were my accomplishments this month?
I blogged every day and also posted 5 articles on The Daily Digi site. I even designed (gasp!) a freebie for The Daily Digi which was a lot f fun. I think I broke all sorts of records (at least my own personal bests) for the amount of scrapbooking I did in December. I completed 23 individual layouts AND 4 Shutterfly albums AND 3 brag book sized mini albums. Holy Cow!

What a month December was! It was fun, but I'm ready for January. Nice to have a reset and a new beginning.
