Be sure to head over to The Daily Digi today for part 2 of my pre-planning digital projects post. This is my supply list only so if you want to learn more about how I'm doing this project you will need to read my posts at The Daily Digi (part 1) and (part 2).
Here are the "ingredients" I am using for my all digital December Daily album. This project is based on Ali Edwards' annual December Daily album. I am using a lot of her inspiration to shape my own album. The difference is that I'm using an all-digital format to create my pages. I am blogging about this process on The Daily Digi blog and I will share some of my completed pages there and also here on my personal blog.
If you choose to use templates for your digital scrapbooking, you will probably enjoy my Tuesday Tutorial on Ali's blog titled "Ten Tips for Templates" to help you get the most out of each and every template that you use!
Please don't feel like you have to use the same ingredients for your own project, nor do you have to use such a wide variety. The main thing I looked for when selecting these ingredients was the storytelling factor. I wanted to make sure my page layouts allowed plenty of space for journaling and I sought after embellishments that would aid in documenting dates or start the story for me. This project does not need to be expensive, you could create a beautiful album using mainly photos and fonts!
This is the complete list of products, templates, fonts, and other items used to put together my album. I have linked all images to the original source. I will explain my choices as much as possible in hopes of helping others who are trying to pre-plan digital pages.
Papers & Digital Kits:
For me the colors of December are red, white, and green. I'm very traditional this way. I also picked kits and paper packs that had Krafty browns, some basic blacks and light blue. These additions will help me stretch my color theme. I also wanted to find enough embellishments that I would be able to add some festive touches throughout the album.

I will be adding to this list as I create my pages but I do plan to keep my choices pretty simple.
My main focus is to capture the memories of the season through photographs and journaling. All the digi goodies are just frosting on the cake!
Are you doing Ali's December Daily challenge this year? Digital or Traditional?
