I don't usually post twice in one day, but I wanted to share some fun news - I have a layout in our local newspaper! Linda Fantin from The Salt Lake Tribune contacted me to ask if she could feature one of my pages.

When Big D Construction treated our family to a Jazz 100 Club night, we were completely star-struck! It was a dream come true to have Jazz players and coaches sign our jerseys, and our faces literally hurt after the game from all of our smiling. When Ronnie Brewer signed Riley’s jersey all she could say was "Oh my gosh! You’re Ronnie Brewer!” I was thrilled to add Jerry Sloan, Jeff Hornacek, and Thurl Bailey to my vintage Karl Malone jersey. I think the expression on Alex’s face in the picture where Coach Sloan is signing his back tells a pretty clear story of how excited he was! One of our favorite moments was when Kyrylo Fesenko was signing Jeff’s jersey and said (with a heavy Ukrainian accent) “Kick Me” as he was signing away.
Of course both kids wanted to get Bear’s signature because they love to watch his crazy antics. When Riley got her big chance, the Bear signed her jersey as asked, but then he grabbed her forehead and put his signature right on her face in permanent marker! (Thankfully, it did wash off later.) What a great night!
