This picture was taken with a film camera loaded with black and white film.
I remember being so disappointed when it came back from the film processor. It was dark, somewhat antique looking, and sort of blurry. I thought it was cute of my kids though so I hung on to it. I'm so glad I did. I cleaned it up a bit when I edited the photo and I love that I have a picture of our family together on Thanksgiving in 2001.
Even today with digital pictures (maybe even more so today) it can be tempting to throw out or delete less than perfect photographs. I certainly agree that some photos are not worth keeping but use caution if the pictures are salvageable or meaningful.
My Memory Monday challenge for today is to dig out a picture that you have previously written off as "no good" and create something special with it.
