I decided to get our Park City pages done before I forgot all the details from our fun little mini-vacation.

We decided that it was time for a little getaway adventure. Everyone was feeling a bit burned out, and with finals approaching it was the perfect time to get refreshed and rejuvenated. We headed up to Park City for a quick little vacation on Memorial Day weekend. We arrived on Friday morning after a wonderful drive rocking out to the ipod. We spent the majority of the day shopping at the Outlet Mall. Dad was in serious need of some casual clothes and we hit the jackpot at the Columbia store. We actually found something for everyone. We ate lunch at Squatters, and dinner at Zoom. It was fun to explore historic Main Street and browse through some of the shops. The big event for the kids was swimming in the hotel pool and getting to stay up late. Saturday morning was spent at the Olympic Park and ski museum where we got to relive our 2002 Winter Olympic memories. It really made us miss that amazing time when the Olympics were actually here in our home state. Then we decided to eat at Squatters one more time for lunch before we headed home on Saturday afternoon. It was a quick trip, but we didn’t have to miss church and Dad still had Monday off of work so he could enjoy some time to get caught up. It did the trick for all of us in helping us clear out the cobwebs of our everyday workload and gave us a fresh perspective on life again. What a perfect little vacation!
