I love lists, quizzes, and challenges because they are a great way to spark an idea for a scrapbook page. When I saw these little "pick your five" activities on facebook, I knew they were a valuable tool for gathering memories to share. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of my favorite fives. If you are on facebook just use the Living Social application. You don't have to be on facebook to use this idea so don't just dismiss it if you aren't into the fb thing. Just make a list of anything that you like or dislike, done or haven't done. Maybe some of my lists will inspire you. Remember to add your own thoughts to why you picked the 5 things and before you know it you will have a lot of your journaling done and memories to share!
My Favorite Candy! by Katie
Almond M&Ms, Carmelo, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Peanut M&Ms and Chocolate covered gummy bears.
Actually, my very favorite candy in the world is my Mom's homemade caramels but that wasn't on the list!
I like candy that has some sweet and salty in it like almond and peanut m&ms or chocolate covered pretzels. I do like chocolate and caramel together - I should have put Nestle treasures now that I think about it.
Chocolate covered gummy bears are strangely addictive :)

Bands I've seen live in concert by Katie
U2, Bon Jovi, Oingo Boingo, Tina Turner and Billy Joel.
We had lousy seats for U2 but of course they were still amazing.
The very best concert I went to on this list was Bon Jovi. Seriously, he put on an amazing show! I went with some of my girlfriends about 7 years ago and we had a blast!
Oingo was very cool. I went with my hubby and my brother and one of his friends (who has since died so it makes the memory kind of sad).
I saw Tina Turner with my Dad when I was about 18. He has always been a huge fan of hers and she was incredible. That woman has so much energy!
I went to Billy Joel when I was in high school with a bunch of friends. Great concert and great night!

best tv shows by Katie
best tv shows by Katie
Lost, Friends, Alias, MythBusters and Planet Earth.
I really don't watch a lot of tv. LOST and Mythbusters are the only current shows on that are "must see tv" for me. I still love Friends reruns and I can always watch Planet Earth or The Blue Planet. I put Alias on the list because it was so much fun to watch. It isn't really a show that I would watch over and over in reruns though.

Cartoons I grew up watching by Katie
Scooby-Doo, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, Laff-A-Lympics, The Great Grape Ape Show and Looney Tunes.
I also watched Schmoo. Does anyone remember that one? I always tell my kids that you used to only be able to watch cartoons if you got up early on Saturday and that was it for the week. No cartoon network, no disney channel, no nick.

5 Most Used Programs by Katie
Mozilla FireFox, Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0, Microsoft Outlook 2007, Microsoft Word and Quicken.
I also still use Microsoft Digital Image Pro sometimes but it wasn't listed in the possibilities because it has been discontinued. These days I do almost all of my designing and scrapping in Adobe Photoshop Elements 7

Top 5 Favorite Stores by Katie
Target, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Borders.
I thought about putting Target for all 5 of them since that is the only place I really ever go!

Katie picked their (5) for "cars I've driven since I was 16".
Honda Accord 1986, 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, 1994 jeep cherokee, Honda Odyssey 2005 and Honda Odyssey 2009.
The Honda Accord was mine (I was spoiled!) I shared all the other cars with my hubby for quite a while. We only had 1 car between us for about 5 years of our marriage. I'm so glad we each have our own car now!

Five favorite movies
Katie picked Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, School of Rock , The Princess Bride and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. What are yours?
I love movies that make me feel good. I love most Pixar movies but Finding Nemo just really speaks to me. Beauty and the Beast is still my all time favorite Disney. I think School of Rock is so much fun! Princess Bride is the ultimate romantic movie. And Captain Jack... swoon!
