another 2 pager

I completed another 2 page spread of layouts yesterday. These two pages will go next to each other in a scrapbook album but the pictures are quite different for each page. So I used a template and similiar colors and papers to tie them together.

Here are my ingredients:

I love both of these kits! I will be using them again for sure since my husband lived in Japan for a few years and I have yet to scrapbook that time.

Now don't be mad at me, but the beautiful brown patterned paper I used for the background is from a retired charity kit called Journey of the Heart and is no longer available.

The template set was a freebie from Mrs. Wresh on DSD. Be sure to look through her blog entries as she gives away (and sells) some great templates.

I found a great asian looking font called Kudasai and on the opposing page I used Franklin Gothic Book.

That's my daughter in her Halloween costume. I think she looks super cute if I may say so!

and here's our other pictures from Halloween. They are quite different than the ones on the previous page but I think the template and kits tied them all together quite nicely.
