It has been a long time since I've done a "stuff I've been meaning to tell you about" post and I do have some "stuff" to share with you today!
Some good things happening in the scrapbook world right now and a lot of changes.
You can still show me your flower layouts! If you are a digital scrapper you will want to post them here to participate in my little "contest" - I'm going to pick a few favorites and award some gift certificates.
If you don't want to post to the thread you can still send me some
links to include in my blog/newsletter feature, but you will only be
eligible for the prizes if you submit to the digishop talk thread at http://www.digishoptalk.com/boards/showthread.php?t=4560
I'm thrilled with the responses so far!
If you are a designer who has flowers for sale feel free to send me your links. You never know, I may pick your designs to feature on one of my layouts!

I've long been an admirer of Martha Stewart's creativity and good ideas. Now she has partnered with Kodak to create a line of branded Martha Stewart personalized photo products. This is a very innovative concept and I am excited to see what it brings when the full details unfold in late September.

BIG news for digital scrappers - Digital Scrapbooking Magazine was acquired by Simple Scrapbooks and they plan to publish a quarterly magazine (I assume it will be an online mag, but details still aren't clear) starting in early 2007. You can read the brief announcement at April Anderton's blog, owner of the Digital Scrapbooking Magazine.

Recently the Creating Keepsakes magazines and Memory Makers magazines have changed ownership hands so it will be interesting to see what these changes bring. I don't have a lot of details on either but I will be keeping my eyes open to see what happens.
